5K Run for Aidan J. Run

JOIN US for the 11th annual 5K for Aidan J. Run/Walk for Heart-Safe Communities!  

In the spirit of our focus on youth empowerment, this year's 5K for Aidan J. is "by the kids, for the kids"!  Our talented young Heart Heroes are helping us make this event a special day for everyone involved.  Please help them spread word by sharing our registration link with family and friends!

Please note:  The event location has been moved from Kerr Park to the Struble Trailhead (where the finish line has been).  Please park in the municipal parking lots at Planet Fitness and Kerr Park and walk to the trailhead, also known as Kardon Park or The Ponds, near the Victims Memorial.  The address is: 215-369 E Pennsylvania Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335

The free T-shirt deadline has expired.  T-shirts will be available for sale at the event and will cost $20 each.  

Registration is open until Friday, June 16th.  Race day registration prices increase $5 per participant.

Make your donation count even more! When you register, create a team or your own fundraising page!  Both are super easy to do through this website.  Building teams and reaching out to your family and friends to support your fundraising page are a force multiplier for our 5K event.  Registration prices cover our event fees; we count on donations and sponsorships to actually raise funds for our foundation's programming.

8:00 am     Check-in and Race Day Registration opens

9am     Opening Ceremony

9:15 am     5K start

9:20 am     1 Mile Family Walk starts

10:20 am   Closing Ceremonies

The 5K race will again be chip-timed, and all runners and 1 mile walkers will receive bibs.  Bryn Mawr Race Management will be providing chip-timing services for runners.  Runner results will be posted immediately on a flat-screen and online.  All registered runners may participate in the family walk and/or the kids races.  Please Note: There will be no Kids Races this year.

Please, no dogs for this event.  Strollers are permitted for 1 Mile Family Walk but not for the 5K Run due to limited space on the trail.
