Ride Overview: The Tour de Lewis O to O - embark on an unforgettable cycling journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Tug Hill with all routes starting and ending in the charming village of Osceola, NY, at the Osceola Ski & Sport Resort in Lewis County, New York.

The Full O to O Tour: This 57-mile ride promises a perfect blend of adventure and serenity, featuring rolling hills and a challenging yet achievable 3,218 feet of elevation gain.

The route weaves through the untouched wilderness and charming villages of Tug Hill, where the crisp air and vibrant greenery provide the ultimate escape into nature. You'll emerge from the woods to ride along the scenic shoreline of Oneida Lake, where sparkling waters meet blue skies—a picture-perfect spot for an Instagram-worthy break at our first aid station. Take a moment to recharge and soak in the tranquility of the lake before continuing on.

As the miles unfold, you'll find yourself energized by the diverse terrain, leading to a final rest stop 15 miles from the finish. Refuel here and gear up for the last leg, which features a hill sure to test your mettle. But fear not—it’s a challenge you’re ready to conquer!

A Tug Hill Cycle - Mad River State Forest: is a shorter but equally fun & challenging route of 34 miles that takes you through rolling hills, villages, and forests. Celebrate your triumph over 1,961 feet of elevation gain as you climb back into Osceola, your spirit invigorated by the incredible views, fresh air, and sense of accomplishment. 10-Mile Family Fun Ride:  Discover the joy of cycling on this 10-mile ride, perfect for new cyclists or families looking for a fun outdoor adventure! The route features gentle terrain with minimal elevation, making it an easy and enjoyable experience for riders of all ages and skill levels. Along the way, you’ll pass through scenic landscapes and have plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and enjoy the fresh air. All Routes are paved. (Route is shown as gravel in a small section. This is not accurate. All routes are entirely paved.)

The Tour de Lewis is cycling’s equivalent of running a half marathon or 10k run. As with running events, rather than racing other participants, most participants challenge themselves in a personal battle against the course, the distance, and, ultimately, the clock. While some faster riders will choose to have this ride timed, most participants are happy to complete the challenge within the allotted time, enjoying the North Country scenery along the way.
