Tangila Trail Series

Tangila Trail Series is Zambia’s premier trail running event. Held on Masebe Ranch, a scenic private game reserve in the heart of the Mkushi farm block, the event attracts a diverse group of participants from all corners of Zambia and beyond. All profits from the event are donated to local conservation education initiatives.

The eighth edition of Tangila Trail Series will be held on Saturday, 20 July 2024 and will feature three trail run courses: a tame 11 km for beginners, a hilly 22 km for more ambitious runners, and a demanding 33 km with a strict 4-hour cut-off for seasoned athletes.

This year’s event will also feature the intensely competitive Solomon Chidunuka Memorial Challenge, bringing together scouts and support staff from 15+ local organizations to honor a true hero of African conservation. The Buffalo Soldier Challenge for local farm staff will also be back by popular demand.
