Strawberry Shortcake 5K

The inaugural Strawberry Shortcake 5K will kick off the annual Strawberry Shortcake festival.  Join us on Sunday, June 9th, 2024 at 9am in Switchyard Park for this sweet race to support our local Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington!

Sponsored by the Auxiliary to the Boys and Girls Club, this course will take you on a tour of Switchyard Park. Starting at the Pavilion, and heading south toward Country Club Road, you will pass the playground and dog parks. Turning around at Country Club Road, you will traverse the park until you get to Hopscotch Coffee. Don't stop there! Turn once more and finish back at the Pavilion to celebrate your completion. Enjoy snacks and coffee in the morning. In the afternoon, take advantage of Cardinal Spirits signature strawberry cocktail, created for this year's festival, with your race discount! Get outside, have fun, and help us support the kids of Bloomington!
