RACE THEME:  Patriotic! Prize for Most Patriotic Male & Patriotic Female.

Kids Freedom Fun Run is free for ages 3-8.

There will be one wave for ages 3-5 and one for ages 6-8.

The Kids Freedom Fun Run and 5k are two separate races. If your child would like to do the 5k with chip timing and awards they must have a paid registration.



ALL RUNNERS  (ADULTS & CHILDREN) MUST BE REGISTERED TO RUN WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CHILDREN IN STROLLERS OR WAGONS.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24,  AT BLUEBONNET Palace 6:45 am - 8:00 am

T-SHIRTS ARE GUARANTEED TO THE FIRST 200 PAID  REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS.

Awards:

Overall Male/Female 1st-3rd place,

Male/Female in 10-year age groups

15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70-79,80+

Awards for Adapted Divisions:

Adaptive ambulatory (runners/walkers with prosthetics, orthotics, cane, etc.)

Hand Cycle, Recumbent, Race Chair

Motorized category (power chair)

Manual chair

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

6:45 am-8:00 am -Packet Pick-up, Race Day Registration, Kids Freedom Fun Run Sign Up

7 am-10 am Silent Auction (Located inside near registration tables)

7:30 am Call to Gather for race warm-up

7:45 am Warm-up

8:00 am - Opening Ceremony

8:15- Kids Freedom Run

8:30 - 5k Starts, Adaptive Divisions,

Handcycle/Recumbents/Wheelchair racing

5k runners will start 5 minutes after cyclists take off.

Walkers/rollers will follow up with the runners.

10 am Awards and Silent Auction Winners

The race Course Closes at 11 am





NO REFUNDS--WE WILL RUN RAIN OR SHINE.  The course is open to traffic during the race.  Service Dogs are welcome with vests. No other animals are allowed.
