CUMBERLAND COUNTY'S PREMIER SUMMER ROAD RACE CELEBRATING ITS SIXTH YEAR - Chip Timed with instant results sent to your phone thanks to South Jersey Race Timing - Special Awards for fastest runner from Vineland and the True Grit Award for our LAST PLACE FINISHER. - Awards to Top 3 Overall  and in Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, and 10 year age groups up to 70+ - NEW Stroller & Racing Chair Divisions: Awards to the top 3 Stroller and Racing Chair Runners! - Team Challenge for the Top 3 fastest teams - Free Kids Dash for ages 10 & under following the 5K No early pickup will be offered this year. Pre-race packet pickup and race day registration will open at 7:00 am. Race day registration and payment is done online via QR code. No cash or checks accepted. Race day registration will close at 7:50 to ensure an on time start of 8:00 am - NO EXCEPTIONS. Pre-registered runners can still check in until 7:55.

 

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS

The Vineland Downtown Improvement District/Main Street Vineland promotes, enhances and revitalizes historic Landis Avenue as a thriving commercial district and community-gathering place for shoppers, residents and visitors. In 2021, Main Street Vineland was awarded the Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP) grant, which provides 5 years of funding towards creating visible, tangible, asset-based, and community-driven change within the NPP District. In the fourth year of this run in the heart of our District, we begin a journey that will transform the very streets and building you will run by and encourage you to return each year to watch this transformation happen.

Second Capital Running was formed in Vineland 2018 to make the vision of the Running The Ave 5K into reality, and now manages over 25 races in all corners of South Jersey with the mission of cultivating strong community action and leadership through the sport of running. We are honored to work alongside Main Street Vineland for the fifth year of our hometown race..
