We are offering you an opportunity to come have some fit fun with friends. PinkStrong Sprint triathlon is a new women’s multisport race for female runners, cyclists, triathletes and duathletes in Central Texas. You can raise your hand as a triathlon champ by participating in our pool-swim triathlon - which combines swimming, running and cycling into a single race.

A triathlon will put your fitness to test by combining swimming, followed up with cycling and finishing with running into one race.
Are You Ready to Try a Tri?The PinkStrong Sprint Triathlon begins with athletes completing their swim leg of 500 yds in the award winning indoor YMCA Campy Natatorium Pool, a quick exit will then transition you onto the bike and cycle approximately 10 miles on a monitored open road course with fast flats and a few short scenic climbs/rolling hills, returning to the park you will then move on to complete your final run leg of 2.5 -3 miles trail run..
Not ready to Tri & Are You More of a Trail Runner?The PinkStrong 5K Trail Challenger course has been designed to be adventurous, with gravel, pavement, butterflies gardens, nestled brooks, bumpy hills, secret shady pathways, and grass. Prepare for rocky climbs and fast descents on all surfaces.
Venue DetailsThe PinkStrong Sprint Triathlon Trail Running Festival will take place at YMCA Camp Moody June 5, 2022, and will be the second of three PinkStrong multisport events in 2022. We invite all past race participants to join us on this new course at this new location, and they will receive a special gift.
Course Maps
Run Course #1: The first run will be a 1.5 mile loop held entirely in the park on the park road and paved path. The course starts out uphill for the first 1/4 miles and a fast downhill will put you on paved trail to complete the run to transition.

Bike Course: The bike course is an approximately 5mile loop on public roads completed 2x. The course has rolling short hills, fast flat stretches and dedicated bike lanes on major roads. BIKE COURSE IS NOT CLOSED TO VEHICLE TRAFFIC. You must use caution and make your own judgement call when turning at each intersection. Police & Volunteers are at the turns to ensure you know where to turn but will not be controlling traffic.

Transition Area: There will be one transition area near kayak launch on in the grass or bottom parking lot for this event.
Start: We will use a mass start for this event.
Timing: This event will be professionally chip timed! We will be providing race day results at our results kiosk immediately after you finish your race. We will also provide a web link to results that you can share with your family and friends so they can follow your race on their web devices.
Course Support: We will have water and sport drink at the water stations on the run as well as at the finish line. You will have 3 opportunities to hydrate on the run course. The water stations are located approximately at miles .9, 1.5, 2.2. There are no water or food stations on the bike course. We will also have food items and beverages at the finish line area for volunteers and participants only.
Athlete Responsibility: USAT rules state that it is the athletes responsibility to know the course. Please study the map and drive, or even better practice, the course.
