Elche Half Marathon - The Oldest of the World

Una Media Maratón muy bien organizada, no demasiado concurrida (unas 3000 personas) lo que te permite coger muy pronto tu ritmo objetivo. Es prácticamente llana, sólo tiene 1'5km con un falso llano positivo, que luego se ve compensado de sobra con otro falso llano hacia abajo con una larga avenida donde 'vuelas'. Es destacable el evento del sábado para los niños que incluye, no sólo las típicas carreras, sino multitud de actividades de distintos deportes que a mis niños les encantaron

Esta ciudad fue la primera que organizó una carrera con la distancia exacta de 21km y 97 m ... y la que más carreras tiene certificadas justo con esa distancia

It was a great experience running the Elche half marathon for the first time. The atmosphere was fantastic and the crowds were great. The t shirt was impressive, as was the medal. Hopefully I will return next year. One major downsize was the lack of toilets, and there should have been a sign for the urinals. Apart from that one criticism, it was a extremely well organised event The communication by email was excellent. Thank you very much.
