Matsu Marathon

Matsu is one of the hardest land in the world ,the whole islands's geology constitute by granite.

The island is surrounding by Taiwan Strait ,in this Marathon ,you 'll run over the seaside of the island and with the wave sounds.
Matsu have a very diversity Ecosystem ,especially the Seagull in Matsu. Chinese crested tern (Thalasseus bernsteini) is one of most dangerous species would be extinct in the world ,can also found in Matsu.
It was a very serious military stronghold in Chinese Civil War. Therefore, the island left many military remains ,in this Marathon we will plan you to run into the Military remains and feel the soldiers fellings when they heard the sound of bombard.
Matsu is the famous in liquor production ,the famous Tunnel 88 Kaoliang Liquor is produce at Matsu.
