Life Matters Outreach 5K and 1M Health Walk

Life Matters Outreach and the LMO Pregnancy Care Center Invite you to join us for the 3rd Annual  "Life Matters 5K /1M Health Walk"!  The race will be held Saturday morning, October 14th at 8:30 AM and will serve to raise funds in support of the Life Matters Outreach Organization and the LMO Pregnancy Care Center.  The LMO Pregnancy Care Center is a Religious Organization Ministry. Since 2001, the organization has been working with women in Polk County, Haralson County, and surrounding areas to assist them with unexpected pregnancies. By offering physical, spiritual, and emotional support along with truthful information about pregnancy options, parenting, adoption, and sexual health, they strive to share God's plan with their clients.  More information can be found here:  https://lifemattersoutreach.net/overview/free-services

Race Registration Fees:

*$25 5K Pre-Registration Entry Fee / $35 Day of Race
*$25 1M Run/Walk Entry Fee / $30 Day of Race

Race Route / Start-Finish & Parking:

* The 5K Course is USATF Certified and a Peachtree R.R. qualifier!  Scenic and very fast, this beautiful route meanders among trees, a river, & bridges. 

* The 5K and 1M will start and finish across the street from the Cedartown Welcome Center located at 609 S. Main St., Cedartown, GA.

* The Race Route will exit the Welcome Center and flow along the scenic, super-fast & flat, Silver Comet Trail on an out-and-back loop. 

* There is plenty of parking at the Welcome Center as well as on the surface streets around the Cedartown Welcome Center location.

Race Day Schedule of Events:

*7:00 AM Race Day Registration Opens
*8:15 AM Race Day Registration Closes
*8:30 AM 5K & 1M Start Time
*9:45 AM Awards Presentation 

5K Awards:

Awards will be given to the following: 
     *Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female Winners
     *Top Masters Male and Top Masters Female Winners
     *Top 3 Male & Female in the following Age Categories: 14-Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over

1M Awards:

Medals will be given to the following: 
     *Top 3 Overall Males and Top 3 Overall Females

Pre-Registration Packet Pick up:

Pre-Registration Packet-Pick up will be held Friday, October 13th from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, in the parking lot of the LMO Pregnancy Center, 134 Fairmount Ave, Cedartown, GA 30125.

Professional Timing:

This race will be chip-timed by Wire2Wire Running, LLC using the latest RFID technology.  Results will be posted after the race at www.wire2wirerunning.com
