Las 16 Millas de Sabrina

Las 16 Millas de Sabrina (Sabrina's 16 Mile Race) is a fund raising running event held on the island of Puerto Rico which benefits local battered and autistic children. It was mainly conceived to thank God for giving us the privilege of being parents while helping needy children. It is a flat race with a course ran mainly along the beach, and has 16 water stations, including the finish line. A 5K and a 10 Mile race are also part of the event. Registration is available prior to the race at local running stores, and on the same day of the event. Participants receive a commemorative shirt, medal and running chip as part of the registration, plus fruits, water and isotonic beverages on the day of the event.
