IVS Bridge to Bridge Run
The Toughest 4 Mile Race Between Two Cities

Since it's inaugural running in 2012, the Bridge to Bridge 4 mile race has become one of the premier running events in the area.

The race starts on Water Street, outside R C Outfitters ( 311 SW Water St, Peoria, Illinois 61602), at 7:00a. The course runs through city streets a short distance before crossing the Bob Michel Bridge over the Illinois River. Leaving the bridge, the route enters the East Peoria River Trail to Clock Tower Drive, through the East Peoria Levee District to the , and returns across the river to Peoria via the Cedar Street Bridge, turns north on Washington St. and finishes back at Running Central. Water Stops will be near mile markers 1 and 2, near mile 3, and at the start/finish line.

The Post Race Celebration and Awards will be at the CEFCU Center Stage, 200 N. Water St, just North of the Peoria Riverfront Museum and Caterpillar Visitor Center.

Hot food is provided by the Olive Garden Italian Kitchen - Olive Garden's famous bread sticks and pasta (with choice of meat or vegetarian Marinara sauce), with soft drinks, water and Gatorade.... immediately after finishing the race.

Music will be provided by a live band.
