Horses: There is a high chance that you encounter horses, as the majority of these trails are multi-use. While we have notified local riding groups and horse camps of the event - be aware that we may not be the only trail users. To keep everyone safe if you encounter horse riders, slow down, STOP, and ask the riders what the safest way for you to pass is. Be sure to talk to the rider as you approach and they pass as this helps put the horses at ease.
