Eastern Run/Walk for Autism

Join us for the 12th annual Eastern Run/Walk for Autism on Saturday, May 2, at Greenville Town Common, 105 E. First St., Greenville!

As many as 1 in 57 children may be diagnosed with autism in North Carolina. You can make a difference in the lives of children with autism and their families by registering for the Eastern Run/Walk for Autism. Registration is $25 for the 5K or $15 for the walk, but you can make an even bigger impact by recruiting family members, friends, and co-workers to form a team and raise donations — now is the time to start!

Register during our kick-off event on Wednesday, Feb. 12, and receive a free draft beer. The event will be 4-7:30 p.m. at Uptown Brewing, 418 Evans Street, Greenville.

Proceeds from the Eastern Run/Walk for Autism will fund local programs of the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC), the leading statewide resource organization serving the over 65,000 people in NC across the spectrum throughout their lifetimes. Participation in this event has helped ASNC to open a Social Recreation Center in Winterville that offers summer day camps, afterschool care, and adult programs.

Everyone knows someone affected by autism — maybe your brother, cousin, friend at school, neighbor, or co-worker. Join others to make a difference in the life of someone you care about with ASD. You can help!

The Eastern Run/Walk for Autism will have something for everyone! Join us for the 5K competitive race or the awareness walk. The family-friendly event will also offer a children's play area, music, refreshments, and vendor space where local support resources are showcased. Come be a part of our community for this fun day!
