This is NOT a Running Time Race Service Event. This event is organized and scored by the Pendleton County X-Country team.

 

DISTANCE:

8K (Approx. 5 Miles) Run on run in Falmouth, Kentucky on the Pendleton County Cross Country Course. 

BENEFIT: 

The entry fees and T-shirt sales will benefit the Pendleton Pacesetters Cross Country Club, and the Pendleton County Cross Country team.

The ‘Daniel Boone’s Frosty Run Through The Forest’ is sponsored by the Pendleton Pacesetters Cross Country Club and are non-refundable. The awards and expenses were paid for in part by the local businesses

10:00 am

ENTRY FEE:

$20 by March 11th. $25 after March 11th.

PACKET PICK-UP:

Race day packets and late registration 8:00 to 10:00 A.M. March 18, at the starting line. Athletes who participate in this competition will be subject to formal drug testing in accordance with TAC rules and IAAF rule 144. Athletes found positive for banned
substances, or who refuse to be tested will be disqualified from this event and will lose eligibility for future competitions. Some prescriptions and over-the-counter
medications contain banned substances. Information regarding drugs and drug testing may be obtained by calling the USOC Hot line at 800 233-0393.

COURSE:

Course starts and finishes at Sharp Middle School, Wright Rd, Butler. KY. The course is run on the Pendleton High School Cross Country Course

.DIRECTIONS TO SHARP MIDDLE SCHOOL:

From Cincinnati cross the ‘Big Mac’ bridge (I-471 South) into Kentucky. I-471 South ends becoming Rt. 27 South. Take 27 south to Pendleton County then go 6 miles to Sharp Middle School. Turn right on Wright Rd.

DIRECTIONS TO FALMOUTH From Lexington:

Take Rt. 27 north out of Lexington to Falmouth. Continue straight through the light just passed McDonald’s on North Rt. 27. Go 1 mile to pass Pendleton HS and continue 4 miles to Sharp Middle School. Turn left on Wright Road. (appr.49 miles from Lexington). Approximately 1 hour.
