City of Lenoir 9k Trail Race

Join us Oct. 27th, 2023 for the Run For Your Life 5k Race! Hosted by the City of Lenoir.   The race will start and finish in Downtown Lenoir. (In front of 1841 Cafe. 117 North Main St. Lenoir NC 28645) Start time will be 6:00 pm with check in from 4:00 pm – 5:45 pm. The immediate area of downtown Lenoir will be blocked off and streets closed due to another Halloween event that will be taking place. Please find the closest parking area and walk to the start location to check in. 
  When: Friday Night, OCTOBER 27th, 2023 Time: 6:00 pm   Start & Finish Location:  Downtown Lenoir. (In front of 1841 Cafe. 117 North Main St. Lenoir NC 28645)            Awards will be given to the top 3 Male and Female overall winners.   Announcements and recognition for top 3 male and female for the following age groups, 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ (after everyone crosses the finish line)! SINCE EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATES AND CROSSES THE FINISH LINE WILL RECEIVE A RACE MEDAL, AGE GROUP WINNERS WILL ONLY BE RECOGNIZED WITH THEIR NAME AND TIME BEING ANNOUNCED. NO ADDITIONAL MEDALS WILL BE HANDED OUT TO AGE GROUP PLACEMENTS.   Packet pick up will only be available on race day from 4:00 - 5:45 pm at the race site! Please find the closest parking area and walk to the start location to check in.   T Shirt Deadline: In order to receive a race shirt on race day, you will need to have registered by Wednesday, Oct. 18th.  AFTER October 18th AND AFTER RACE DAY, WE WILL PLACE ANOTHER SHIRT ORDER AND SHIRTS WILL BE RECEIVED AT A LATER DATE!   CAUTION: ZOMBIES ON THE LOOSE. Zombies and other Halloween costumed characters will chase, scare, and jump out at you along your run! (Running participants will NOT be physically touch at all by our volunteers) Come out and RUN FOR YOUR LIFE in downtown Lenoir. Halloween Costumes are highly encouraged. Prizes will be given to the first three females and males to cross the finish line. A special prize for the best dressed will be given out as well. Open to everyone and all ages.
