Cinco de Mayo 5K Run/Walk - Lansing

Cafecito Caliente wishes to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with its 3rd Annual Cinco de Mayo 5k Run/Walk!

Race Start Time: 9:00 AM

Cost: Registrations thru April 19, 2023: $30 
Registrations April 20, 2023, $35 
Race Day: $40.

Register by April 19, 2023, to be guaranteed a shirt and customized Cinco de Mayo 5k Medal! After April 19, 2023, shirt and medal available as supplies last. Update: Shirts have been ordered, we have a few extra in most sizes, register today to secure a t-shirt! 

Virtual Run: Cost is $30.00 shirt and medal are guaranteed if registered by April 19, 2023. After that date, on a first come, first serve basis. 

Run as a family/group and save! - Register 3 or more people at the same time and save $5 per participant (Not available with the Virtual Race).

SWAG!!!  Each participant will receive a t-shirt, customized Cinco de Mayo medal if you register by April 19, 2023.

Packet Pickup will be Friday, May 5, 2023, from 4:00pm to 7:30pm at Arctic Corner Ice Cream Shop in Lansing's Old Town and again on Saturday, May 6, 2023, beginning at 8:00am.

Awards: Award to overall male and female and each division winner.
Age divisions: 10 and under, 11 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79 and 80 and over. 

100% of the proceeds go to the Latino Advisory Committee which provides scholarships to Latino students in the Lansing School District. The Latino Advisory Committee was created in April of 1972 to recognize, educate and empower parents to take a proactive role in the educational and personal development of their children. We work in partnership with the Lansing School District to advocate for Latino families and their students throughout the calendar year.

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live during the race and online at this website.
