Blood Sweat & Beers 5k Run/Walk

Since 2015, the Blood Sweat & Beers 5K run/walk has been a premier event with the sole purpose of raising money to help support IOWA families who are struggling financially as a result of blood and/or pediatric cancer. HERE'S WHAT TO DO NEXT:

1) Registration is NOW OPEN and will remain open through 11:59 p.m. on October 6, 2023. Race day registration will be available on-site from 8:00am to 9:30am (price will increase to $50).

2) Complete the 5k run/walk registration form. Swag pick-up will be Friday, October 6 (more details to come). If that doesn't work, you can also pick-up on Race Day morning beginning at 8:00am at The Walnut Restaurant  (1417 Walnut St, Des Moines).

3) Spread the word! Encourage your friends and family near and far to participate with you! Challenge yourself and each other to help those in need! Our funds go directly towards patient grants. Our patients are people, like you and us, trying to take care of themselves and their families. Now, more than ever, they need our help. Our founding purpose was, and still remains true, to help patients and families with the 'collateral damage' they face in the wake of a blood and/or pediatric cancer diagnoses.
