Allegany Adventure Run

Welcome to the Allegany Adventure Run which takes place inside the Art Roscoe Trail System of Allegany State Park in Salamanca, NY.  Annually, the AAR continues to offer a breathtaking and scenic opportunity for athletes from around the Nation to experience three distances of off-the-hook trail running in a beautiful, challenging and serene venue second to few locations.  The often gentle, rolling and non-technical trails of the Art Roscoe Trail System can be friendly or wicked.  Choose your poison.  Clear course markings, plenty of water/aid stations, tent/cabin camping options throughout the Park and a fun, relaxing venue for a truly hard-core race.  The canopy of trees throughout the trail system supports our rain/shine policy kicking off the trail running season for those willing to accept the challenge.  Plus amazing door prizes and a great post-race picnic style party.  A truly memorable event supporting great local causes.  We simply request that you come prepared because the trails don't lie.
5K:  A fun, slightly hilly trek around Sweetwater Trail.  10:00am start.
13K:  Sweetwater, Christian Hollow & Leonard Run prove this is no walk in the Park. 9:45am start.
27K:  Same start as the 13K followed up with a trek down Ridge run and the new Thunder Run 3-mile single track trail, up Patterson's 2-mile climbing finish.  Word of advice:   Cutoff at mile 7.5 will be enforced by 10:30am for the safety of runners and marshals since the 2nd half of this course is the most difficult.  9:00am start.
