Aberdyfi Swim

Swim from the beautiful beach in Aberdyfi all the way up towards the tidal limit of the Dyfi estuary covering 13km of splendour, a journey that transitions from coast to mountain. A remarkable point to point swim journey, and the longest estuary race in the UK. Water temperature at the start will be around 17 degrees, and around 15 degrees at the finish. This swim will be tide assisted. If you can swim consistently for 2.5 hours at a minimum of 3km/h in open water, and you have a sense of adventure, then you'll be suited to this swim. All swimmers will be issued with GPS trackers, included in your entry fee. These need to be carried in a tow float. Skins swimmers must have prior experience of swimming for similar amounts of time in similar water temperatures.
