A Life to Remember 5K

RUN or WALK IN REMEMBRANCE OF YOUR LOVED ONE or TO HONOR THE LIFE OF ANOTHER

This year is a big year as we’re hosting our 10th Annual A Walk to Remember! The 2021 5K will be an IN-PERSON event located at the Adams County Fairgrounds, 9755 Henderson Rd., Brighton, CO 80601. Participation will include an event shirt (*see deadline below) and post race food. Timing will be provided by Timing Consortium.

The event hosted by the Richard Lambert Foundation, is a fundraiser to support families, children, and adults in our communities that are facing the future without their loved one. Funds will provide free grief support programs and one-on-one counseling starting as low as $10. Invite your friends, family and co-workers to join you in supporting Richard Lambert Foundation (RLF) and be sure to let them know what RLF means to YOU. Your support will have an everlasting impact in the life of bereaved children and adults facing one of life’s most difficult journeys. Thank you for supporting us in furthering our mission of providing care, support, and essential resources to bereaved children and adults, allowing them to create a foundation for hope, healing, and survival. 

CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE VIRTUALLY in 2021 
YES! You may participate by running or walking 3.1 miles (5K) at any time, at any pace, anywhere that's convenient between September 12-18! You can participate in any city or state..... on a trail, sidewalk, track, or on a treadmill.

RACE SHIRTS 
Register before August 23 to be guaranteed a race shirt and to have your loved ones name printed on event shirt with all other listed names. **The first 150 pre-registered 5K participants will receive a unisex cotton race shirt. Sizes selected may not be exchanged. There is an option when registering to have your shirt mailed. See packet pickup for instructions on picking up your race shirt.

FINISHERS MEDAL
All registered participants will receive a finishers medal (excluding 7 and under free participants).

TEAMS
Teams are welcome! We love seeing families and friends come together to honor the life of a loved one!

AWARDS 
Medals will be awarded to:
Open Division (39 and under) - Top 3 Overall Male 
Open Division (39 and under) - Top 3 Overall Female
Masters Division (40+) - Top 3 Overall Male
Masters Division (40+) - Top 3 Overall Female

MEMORIAL SIGNS
Custom memorial signs are available for $15. The signs will be displayed at our in-person 5K on September 19 along the race course. Memorial signs will be kept by the Richard Lambert Foundation to display for years to come at A Life to Remember 5K to continue honoring your loved one.

FUNDRAISE
Ask your friends and family to sponsor you or make a memorial donation to support other bereaved families coping with loss.

PACKET PICKUP
Will be held on Friday, September 10 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm and Saturday, September 11 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Richard Lambert Foundation 457 S. 4th Ave. Brighton.

POST RACE FOOD
Available for all registered 5K participants
