5k Unity in the Community Walk/Run

Columbus ICE (Inspiring Children to Excellence) is hosting its third annual 5K Walk/Run event on June 17, 2023, Unity in the Community.  Columbus ICE is a 501(c)(3) operating under H.E.A.R.T.4 Kids a community based organization that instills the importance of Health, Education, Positive Attitude, Recreation and Teamwork.  Our heart for kids is manifested through helping families. Annually through various programming we serve over 350 boys and girls, age 4 to 18. Some of our community events include:  

Spring Eggstravaganza which serves 200 childrenCareer Fairs to prepare young minds to dream about their future career choicesBusiness building events for parents to learn tips and tools on how to be a successful entrepreneurThanksgiving Give Away provides over 300 families with turkey & all of the fixingsChristmas Toy Giveaway which serves over 1500 households

Race Day Information:  Race day packet pick-up and same day registration will open the morning of the event on Saturday, June 17th at 9:00am at Huber Park. The 5k races will begin at 10:00am. The 1 mile will begin at 10:30 a.m.   The virtual race can occur anytime between Friday, June 16th and Sunday June 18th at 11:00 p.m. EST.  All participants are encouraged to take part in the City of Reynoldsburg Juneteenth festivities at Huber Park.  You will get the pleasure of previewing as you pass by along your 5k route.

The 1mi walk, 5k run/walk and virtual race will all be the same price, $35.  Register early to guarantee your spot in the race.
