Women's Ferry Field 5K

Ladies, join us on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 9AM at the Ferry Field Track in Ann Arbor, MI for the third annual Women's Ferry Field 5K Time Trial!

Two years ago, a group of runners decided they wanted to collectively train to break 19:00 in the 5K. This group wanted to create a college-like experience by holding the time trial on a track since it is difficult to find post-collegiate races off the road. The event gathered interest and many others had nostalgia for a track 5K with runners of the same caliber. 

We started the Women’s Ferry Field 5K to create an opportunity for women to reach a time goal while also supporting the runner next to them. No official podium, no first place prizes, no finishing gear; just a hard-earned personal accomplishment.

This year, our theme is to “come as you are”. Many of the women in our group have had recent life changes that may have altered some of their training goals. So whether you are coming to break 19 minutes in the 5k or you are striving for a stroller 5k PR, come join us!
