KnarvikMila is Norway's most awe-inspiring running event, taking place at the beginning of September. It is more than just a single race or distance. It is an entire week filled with cultural and sports activities. For more information, check out our program and the different distances available. Founded in 1982 by Helge Brekke and organized by FIL-AKS77, thousands of participants have run in Knarvik every autumn since. In 2022, a whopping 500 volunteers made the event possible for the 6000 people that took part. Without their help and commitment, KnarvikMila would not be what it is today: a week-long celebration that includes a conference, concerts, and trade fairs.
