Hippie Dash 5K - Charleston

The Hippie Dash is a 5k fun run/walk that raises awareness and funding for people with disabilities and helps support Palmetto Goodwill's work to change lives through education, training and employment.

Far out dudes, hip chicks, flower children and funky fidos are invited to don their best 70s attire as they move and groove their way through a psychedelic 3.1 mile course around James Island County Park.

Runners, walkers, children and pups of all ages are encouraged to participate. Don't forget to channel your inner Flower Power and put on those threads, man. You may just win a prize!  The Hippie Dash is all about fun, friendship and supporting a good cause. Proceeds from the Hippie Dash will increase awareness and funding for services to people with disabilities through the programs of Palmetto Goodwill.

WHERE:                 James Island County Park - Registration at the Stono Shelter

Packet Pick Up:    March 2nd or March 3rd - 10:30am to 4pm at Palmetto Goodwill (2150 Eagle Drive, Bldg. 100, N. Charleston, 29406)

                                Can't make one of these pick-up times, don't worry! We will have your packet at Registration the morning of the event.

Prizes will be awarded for: Best Dressed Dude, Best Dressed Dudette, Best Dressed Flower Child, and Best Dressed Pooch

Medals for Top 3 Male and Female - Overall and the Top Male and Female in the following categories: 60+, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 15-19, 14 & under.

All registrants before January 31st, are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt.
