About the event
The What About Children 5K Run/Walk is a fundraiser that will help (WAOC) provide programs and experiences that address the academic, physical and spiritual needs of youth, 18 and under. We offer year-round activities and summer camp sessions that provide opportunities for children to develop life skills to be productive citizens like financial literacy, to learn how to manage their social and emotional wellness, to develop study habits, to help them succeed in school and more. WAOC currently operates from various temporary locations so a portion of the proceeds will support our future, permanent home Mt. Zion Family Life Center. The race is open to both runners and walker of all fitness levels and abilities.
