This was my first marathon, ran in 2022. Will split my review by points: -Route: Really nice, mostly around the Bodensee lake. Was tough at around 32km, since it was an endless straight line without crowd cheering, but only rough part. -Organization: Really good. Weren't the nicest on the fair for non german speakers, but overall very good. The "pit stops" were amazing, with tea, coke and water in every one. -Crowd: I loved it. Not on all the course, but on most of it. The people from there really give cheering importance, and do it with all their heart! Good organized cheering points aswell. I'll fondly save in my memory having a whole cheer squad cheering just for me. -Location: Beautiful. I stayed in Lindau insel, and it was a splendid surprise. Strongly recommend it. And most of all, it would be places in europe that I would have never known if it wasn't for the marathon, truly worth visiting. I stayed for 10 days iirc. -Participation wise, it was dense the first half marathon, but still easy to pick your pace. Since most people are only running half, the second half was sparse, and I was alone or just with 2 or 3 people most of the way. Diferent experience, I enjoyed it. -Fast track: I don't know, since it was my first. But didn't have hills. Overall, it will always be a great memory, and hope some day to repeat it, when I get tired of trying new ones.

The Sparkasse 3-Länder-Marathon was an amazing marathon, for my first abroad marathon! The route was very beautiful and mainly flat. The event was very well organised, with free transport to get to the start in Lindau, Germany. Would definitely recommend this marathon!!

The marathon went through Germany, Austria and Switzerland and was very picturesque. The weather was perfect for a marathon.

Everything was very good organized exept after the running, noone who showed how to find the way out from the station, where to find trucks caring the bags with clothes, massage- It’s not necessery to spend half an hour on each runner when there are hundreds needing

My first time to run in Germany in over 17 years. I found it easy to understand and the course easy going with good scenery. I recommend this marathon.

The scenery was beautiful!

It was an amazing race, a very nice route along the lake and well organized. The volunteers was the best, they was full of energy. It is an original and very nice race, around the lake.

It was very interesting to run the marathon through 3 country in one race. We met very nice and friendly people who gave a lot of energy to us, they was very important. I ran this marathon in family, my husband ran the first marathon, and made it without any preparation. It was a special race for us, I’m so proud about him. Thank you guys for everything, you are special, you gave us a lot of sweet memories.

Yes, when compared to big German city marathons, it can be said not crowded but all remaining aspects of marathon were soo good. Running through three country with warm spactators. Drinks and foods during and after marathon were enough. I strongly recommend you to run the marathon and keep in mind to spend more time in the region.

It was a well organised and spectacular race.

It was a relaxing race for me, a lot of hydration points with iso and water. I felt excellent so I had a personal record without much difficulty (I have been running for a year)

Excellent race but the entry details on WoldsMarathon was not passed on to the organisers correctly. The chip rental and T-shirt ordered (and paid for) didn’t show on the organisers system which resulted in us being told we hadn’t paid. It was very difficult to explain in broken English and German until someone at the info booth kindly assisted. WorldsMarathon needs to investigate why the full details are not passed on to the event organisers!

Beautiful Marathon, the weather wasn’t great but it is still a fantastic event and beautiful part of the world to run in!
