Very good organised. Start and finish on the champs-elysées. The route is a bit hilly and not always easy. Awesome run

This was my first race and completed in 5:19 hrs. All the way I traveled from India to Paris and I never imagine that thousand and thousand people was cheering for marathoner. Such a good arrangement I never saw before in any full marathon what I ran before. The climate was little hot around 22 degrees temperature but organizer was also ready for that to spry water on certain distance. Transportation was nice, easily we can pick the metro and reach within 30 mins to anywhere in Paris. I would like to run again and again Paris marathon whenever I will get the chance. The people of France is nice to help foreigners. The week point I see after run the medical camp was very limited, runners was standing in the Q to get their chance. But overall it was a great experience to me as it was my first full International marathon.

This is my hometown marathon I ran it 2 times (2016 and 2017). Beautiful city :)) Beautiful design (very scenic), well organized. This marathon route offers a spectacular tour of Paris’ capital. Champs Elysées, Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, Tuileries, Musée d'Orsay, Eiffel Tower, Fondation LVMH.....

This was my first marathon that I have run in 2016, i ran again in 2017 and will do in 2018. I have been to paris many times but the route showed me parts I didn't know about and I loved it. A nice flat course and one for PB's. I couldn't recommend it more!

The route is full of crowds in the town and when its quiet you have a great view of the city.

The great city of Paris would have a good chance to organize a great marathon - like Berlin or New York. Obviously people in Paris are not interested to do that. They give you a boring course, which additionally is much too narrow for the huge number of participants. In 2005, when I participated, there also has been a tremendous lack of supporting spectators. In Paris you would expect to run through the Arc de Triomphe, not only to start anywhere near to it. You would expect a course touching the Eiffel Tower and not only to see it from far when running at the other side of the river of Seine on a boring motorway. It is a shame for the great country France which I really love that their capital is not willing or able to organize a marathon which is comparable to those in other capitals of the world.
