Under USAC Rules and Permit 2024-9285 by Velo Promo & Golden Chain Cyclists
Registration: Each Category registers 6:30 a.m. to 15 minutes before scheduled start.
Directions: Take Hwy 120 to and east through Oakdale, and turn right on Wamble Road (after Orange Blossom Rd) east of town and then follow the signs to registration and parking, at Burchell Nursery, at 9310 Wamble Road, Oakdale, CA 95361, just south of Hwy 120/108
Course: This is now a 17-mile loop CLOCKWISE course in Stanislaus County. The race promenades (by fields) from the Nursery driveway, starts at the Emery/Warnerville corner and finishes on Warnerville Road west of Emery, south of registration/parking, Loop: heads EAST on Warnerville, south on Tim Bell, west on Claribel, north on Ellenwood, west on Alvarado, north on Stoddard, and east on Warnerville back to the finish flat, just west of Emery). Feed zone is on Warnerville 100 meters west of Emery (park on Emery) Neutral water, bottles and feeders available. Pavement is mostly good, with some potholes; the former gravel section has been paved, but has a lot of poorly solidified spots; keep your eyes open in this 1 mile long section on Tim Bell. Several small hills, including the feed hill, two railroad crossings which should not present delays. No gas, services or phones available on the course, but everything is available in Oakdale.

How to Enter:
---via On-line at www.BikeReg.com from today to June 2 for above fees plus on-line surcharge. From June 3-5 the fee on-line is $12 additional. No on-line entry after midnight PST June 5. You can also enter on race day up to 15 minutes before your start, and can do it on paper with cash or card, or online (via phone) at https://bikereg.com/regalado-road-race
---By Mail: You may still enter by mail, but if a group is filling, go on-line. By mail, send standard USAC entry form/release along with fee above (if Postmarked by Friday May 31 to Velo Promo/Regalado, 19780 Soulsbyville Road, Soulsbyville, CA 95372. For those postmarked after, add $12. Note: indicate what category you are entering on check or form. Entries for several races in one envelope ok, but be sure to list race names on the outside. Envelopes without names of races on the outside may go to the wrong race. Mail in entries will not be processed until after the opening of online reg.
---At Race: You may enter at the race, only via Bike Reg online (by phone) at https://bikereg.com/regalado-road-race provided your event is not filled, for the above listed fee plus $12. There will not be 2nd race groups at this race.
2024 USAC license required (available online at USACycling.org). One day licenses ($10) are available only for Novice riders . Entry fees include $3.00 NCNCA and $5.75 USAC insurance surcharges. Numbers will be provided.
Credit for another VP race will be given if you follow the below procedure by 5 pm Wednesday 6/5 letting us know that you can't compete. No credit issued if you plan to enter another race instead; no cash refunds. No substitutions (transferring to another rider) for cancellations. Procedure: Go to "Edit My Entry" link on the BikeReg.com registration page, in your confirmation email, or in your BikeReg account to access this credit system.
Champion Discounts: Champions pay normal fees up front; Current NorCal/Nevada District Road Race Champions and National Road Champions will get a refund at the reg desk of all but $8 per day if 1) their entry is received by the deadline above (otherwise they pay full fee, including late fee) and 2) they ride in the category they won the championship in (Master Champions may ride down in age, and ride for $5, and Juniors may ride up. District jersey is not required
Covid-19 Mitigations: Mitigations mirroring CDC, California and Stanislaus County guidance regarding Covid-19 If
you have Covid, have been exposed to it in the past 14 days, or have symptoms of it, don’t come. Those not following
the mitigations will be asked to correct or leave.
Rules: Please, please use the toilets provided, and be civil to the local residents. They can make it really tough to hold another race here. Official follow vehicles only (any volunteers? – you’ll need an MVR with USAC, and two weeks lead time) There may be none for your group; be prepared with pump and spare. Centerline will be enforced; if you can’t stay on your side of the road, stay home. This will be a single lane race, with a possible full road sprint at the finish.
