Half Marathon results
Dylan Evans (1:25:49) cut just over a minute from his winning time in 2014, to defend his title in Australia’s Knight Frank Point to Pinnacle Half Marathon.
More than 1,000 runners completed the course which starts at sea level, and works its way nearly 1,300 meters up to the top of Mount Wellington in Tasmania.
Barry Keem came in second with a time of 1:31:34.
In a tight race for third, Alex Hunt (1:33:21) managed to hold on Josh Chugg (1:33:32) and Ken Myers (1:33:40).

For the women, it was Kate Pedley taking the top spot for the second time in three years.
Her mark of 1:37:53 was five minutes faster than her winning time in 2013…and a new course record.
She finished third in 2012.
Runner-up Ruth Wilson (1:41:24) cut close to 10 minutes from her third-place finish a year ago.
Yvette Edward (1:53:52) rounded out the top three.
