About the event

In November it's time for the Milano21 Half Marathon. Fast routes and tight rhythms will push all the runners through the streets of the city centre. Parco Sempione, the Duomo and the Castello Sforzesco, the Darsena and Monte Napoleone will be the perfect stage to reach your staff on the medium distance. A city between history and future, which can be discovered on an autumn morning with crisp air, ready to welcome your steps.

Great route, very flat, good for PB, despite some cobbled streets. Not many crowds, but some nice sights along the course. Very convenient start-finish location, close to metro stations. Pacers were great. :) Nice long-sleeve t-shirt, medal could have been metal, not wood, but OK.

If you have fuel in the tank - you can push right after km 17, I was able to shave off a few seconds ;)

BIB collection was quick and easy. The race itself is nice and very flat for a PB option despite a few cobbled streets. There are pacers which are a plus. The are many water stations offering the basics. Not the prettiest city to run around in Italy but a good winter option.

I appreciate the well-organized event, especially the convenient proximity of pick-up, baggage drop, and the starting point on the same day. Running through the city center offered amazing views. Thank you—I highly recommend this event to everyone!

The race was well organized, nice views through the city, specially close to the Duomo. However, the race path was not the best, very crowded a the beginning of the race due to amount of people and suddenly you found a hole and/or very irregular surface, so it required a lot of attention and concentration to avoid injuries. In some areas on top of this, suddenly the path was narrow down, again due to the crowded race, was very complicated to keep your pace and avoid accidents with the barriers in this areas. Last but no least, too few people helping in the water stops, it was chaotic and people just took the bottles instead the cups, because there were not enough, so then people just throw them in the street, again very dangerous for runners

Next time, at least separate the starting time between 10k and 21k, not all together at the same time. Come on!!
