A wonderful marathon that started up in the mountains in Mesa and we ran all over fantastic scenery, watching the sunrise over spectacular landscapes. Fast course, well organized, cheerful folks... My only two constructive criticism subjects would be, in order to give you free race pictures, they make you sign a consent that they will post it on your social media page, then they pick the photo when, despite running a fast race, your slowest moment was at mile twenty two and they only post that one with you pace printed on it, which is inaccurate because your over all marathon pace is more than a minute per mile faster than your moment at mile twenty two. Also, they had pacers in five minute increments, which was great, except for the 3:50 pacer. They started at 3:30, and had pacers for every five minute increment, 3:35, 3:40, 3:45- skipping 3:50, continue on 3:55. and so on, which was odd. Other than that it was a great event and I recommend doing it at least once.

If they hadn't had an inexplicably missing pacer for the 3:50 group, it would have been a perfect organization, except for the quality of photos. So, I gave it four stars out of five, which is still very good.
