This year, we are thrilled to once again offer both an in-person run on Thanksgiving Day and a virtual option that brings the fun right to your doorstep! Join the festivities, spread holiday cheer, and strengthen community spirit from anywhere. 

 

Together we will share our LOVE for Lynchburg – our neighbors, our families, and our community as a whole. Join us this Thanksgiving to celebrate all we have to be thankful for and help a neighbor in need.

 

The Lynchburg Turkey Trot is more than a tradition – every registration feeds TWO families a Thanksgiving meal. HumanKind is still seeing high needs as families are striving to get back on their feet. There is no doubt in our mind that this Thanksgiving is an important time to help families in need. 

 

Here’s how it works...Register and choose to be in-person or virtual, get your gear mailed to you or at the drive-thru packet pick up, join us on Thanksgiving morning or select a day of your choice to run or walk on a course of your choosing or treadmill, use our race app to keep track, submit your results to be added to the virtual leaderboard, and don’t forget to wear your turkey swag!
