About the event

The Corsa dei Santi is an international sporting event that celebrates the celebration of all saints. It is a beautiful race that winds through the historic center of Rome, among squares, churches and noble palaces. Professional and non-professional athletes, champions and beginners are all invited to compete, regardless of their performances. The event also supports important charitable initiatives with famous testimonials and a telephone fundraiser. It is a unique opportunity for athletes of all levels to join together with entire families in a great celebration of sport and solidarity. With departure and arrival from St. Peter's Square, the Race will once again be broadcasted by Canale 5.

You will run in the most beautiful city in the world starting from St. Peter's Square, the capital of the Catholic world, passing through the Circus Maximus, the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Popolo.

Best event of my life. Brilliantly organised, fabulous, quality t-shirt, biggest medal, loads of after event fruit and water. The route? Wow! Running through the closed off roads was surreal. Fabulous atmosphere and hugely iconic photos in front of the Vatican. Can't recommend enough!

Fairly flat, fast course. Bits on cobbles.

James Mburugu outpaced more then 3017 runners to win in 00:29:04. Coming in second was Paul Tiongik (00:29:06). The third place went to James Kibet with a time of 00:29:56 For the women, Sofiia Yaremchuk got a win, finishing with a time of 00:33:01 . She bested Ivyne Jeruto Lagat who crossed the finish line 15 secondes behind her.
