About the event

Prepare yourself for the spirit of both competition and community at the 8th edition
of IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam which will continuously be held in the beautiful Da Nang,
Viet Nam. Set amongst majestic mountains and vibrant blue waters the race course is flat, fast, and has an incredible finish line right on the beach.

The race weekend will also host Sunrise SPRINT Viet Nam (a short series triathlon) and
IRONKIDS Viet Nam (aquathlon and triathlon formats) providing a race for all!

Event details and schedule

Da Nang is filled with amazing landmarks, spectacular beaches, and delicious food
which helped land the city on the New York Times “52 Places to Go” list. It is also
located between three UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son
Sanctuary and Complex of Hue Monuments), which means your race-cation will not disappoint.

The race weekend will also host Sunrise SPRINT Viet Nam (a short series triathlon) and
IRONKIDS Viet Nam (aquathlon and triathlon formats) providing a race for all!

The 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam will offer 30 qualifying slots to the 2024 VinFast WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 70.3 in Taupō, New Zealand.

Results 2023: IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam

Christopher Frederick Mascarenhas-Keyes finished first in 04:15:11, followed by Alexey Vshivtsev who finished with a time of 04:19:34. Finishing third was Michael Cassinides (04:22:38). For the women, Krisztina Vaczi won the race with a time of 05:02:04 . She finished one minute 21 seconds ahead of Bianca Marcon.
