FICPA 1040K 5K/10K

Since 1989, the FICPA Scholarship Foundation has hosted a 5K race in South Florida. This year, we will celebrate the 34th annual race in April with our new venue taking place at Markham Park! 

The annual event has had tremendous support and has become a great opportunity to end the tax season farewell, get out from behind the desk, exercise and contribute to a very worthwhile scholarship fund. 

​Proceeds from the event are awarded to deserving accounting students including 3 scholarships in memory of Lewis Davis, Miami-Dade County’s first African-American CPA, community leader, and co-founder of the Greater Miami-South Florida Chapter - National Association of Black Accountants, Inc.

​Since its inception, the 1040K race committee has raised more than $250,000 in scholarship funds.

​Submit your picture and we will post it on our social media channels or post it and use #1040k.

Registration Fee

Registration is $30.00 per runner. This will include a t-shirt and a medal that will be mailed to you.

Course

The course this year will take place at Markham park and will be a certified 5K  out and back.
