DAR Snowshoe Scramble

1/26/24 Update - snow is holding on the snowmobile trails….so we're going to be SNOWSHOEING!  Course is about 3.8 miles total.  DAY OF REG AVAILABLE!

This'll be a fun day - regardless of whether we have snow (to snowshoe) or end up just trail running instead!  Low key running - no real prizes, no t-shirts, no frills, just fun.  We'll have a few munchies at the end of the race, but feel free to bring something to share (in true snowshoe racing tradition).

We're still finalizing the course, but we'll be around the range of 10k total.  Will also depend on snow conditions, so course will be between 5k and 10k in length.

We will have loaner snowshoes available provided by the amazing folks at Dion Snowshoes (and the RD has a few loaners also).  But, we are also asking everyone to help out - if you have a spare pair or two, please bring them so someone else can use them.  And if you need a pair, let us know so we can try to manage (or scrounge up a few more pair).  If you are borrowing a pair of the loaners, the rental fee is $5.

Team Competition is on!  We'll add up the fastest 4 participants from your team or club.  Just be sure to have folks sign up under the same team/club name - this can be official teams/clubs, or just a group of friends.  Bragging rights to the fastest team (and likely a giant cookie or other Amy baked treat to share)!
