Zurich Maratón de Sevilla

Only a couple of hours away from the British winter via a cheap flight. Several thousand serious runners on a flat and interesting course that was well supported by enthusiastic crowds. Weather was perfect as was the organisation as you would expect for such a big event. Plenty to see and do for the rest of the week that we stayed in this fabulous city.

Great city to run a marathon in well organized race.

Great city to run in the race is very well organized thanks to all the valontiers.

Seville is a great location with lots of things to do both before and after the marathon. The route, although described as the flattest showed as 750 feet climb on strawa. Some of the terrain was cobbled which wasn’t great on the feet. I didn’t feel it was prepared for international runners. The website reverted back into Spanish and all the literature was also Spanish. There were very few stewards to help with questions at the Expo which cost us €30 to get to and register. I can only compare this to London and it is far more organised with lots of information. But then this could just be the language barrier.

Not so good the delivery service of the numbers, they exchanged my number, and then didn't active my number, so till now no times or results. Bad experience.

Das war mein erstes Marathon und mit Hilfe von spanisches Publikum konnte ich bis Ende laufen 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️
