We’re dedicating our run to support American heroes battling Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS), a testament to resilience in the face of adversity. PTS, a natural response to experiencing or witnessing traumatic events, manifests through symptoms like rapid heart rate, sweating, and heightened alertness. These symptoms persistently interfere with daily life and warrant professional guidance and support.

The Pumpkin Run is more than a race; it’s a step forward in acknowledging and supporting the silent battles faced by our veterans and first responders. By participating, you’re not just running through the beautiful landscapes of Yadkin Valley; you’re helping shine a light on the importance of mental wellness and the effective coping mechanisms our heroes can employ in their journey towards healing. 🏃‍♂️🍂

The 5k and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run will take place at the Elkin Municipal Park located in Elkin, NC. This is an improved trail suitable for all levels of runners. No road crossings and beautiful scenery will be all along the course!
