Recycle Bikes for Kids is excited to announce a new Start Line location and five new routes for the 17th edition of the Wampoo Roadeo. This year’s event is sponsored by Cobb Brothers and will take place in Keo, Arkansas. We will be taking over downtown Keo on Saturday, July 19 and having a party after the ride on Main Street!
Plenty of parking available in Keo. Feel free to set up your cycling club tents and enjoy the festivities.  Show your Bib Number to cash in on all that’s offered after the ride. 

Sterling Market, located at 515 Shall Avenue in the Little Rock’s East Village, is sponsoring a Strava segment located on Highway 31. Look for the checkered flags along the route marking the “Sterling Market Sprint”. QOM, KOM, “Most Determined”, and “Middle of the Road” riders through the segment win prizes from Sterling Market.  

Wampoo Roadeo Packet Pickup will be on Thursday, July 17 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Recycle Bikes for Kids (RB4K) shop at 717 E. 10th Street, North Little Rock. If you ordered any merchandise, it will be available for pick up, along with your bib number, at Packet Pickup.    We are selling retro Wampoo tee shirts with the old logo.  If you purchase a tee shirt when you register, you can come by the RB4K shop and pick up your shirt anytime after registering. 

If you can’t make Packet Pickup, we’ll have your bib number and anything you ordered at the Start Line before (and after) the ride. Look for the yellow pop up Registration tent.

Please note there will be a “Wampoo Gate” set up at 9:30 am at the intersection of Henderson Road and Central High Road. All riders not through the intersection by 9:30 am will be directed to the finish line via Henderson Road. This is for everyone’s protection because of the heat, humidity and wind.

The Wampoo Roadeo is a fundraiser for Recycle Bikes for Kids.  The mission of RB4K is to give free bikes to kids, provide adults the opportunity to earn a bike, and support bike infrastructure and education in the community.

Since 2008, a large part of the mission at RB4K is to get every kid a bike. But as RB4K has grown through the years , it’s become clear how crucial bike infrastructure, safety and education is to our community. Our new expanded mission addresses that need. Proceeds from this ride will directly help fund all of RB4K's future infrastructure projects.
