Qualification

Must have completed a 50K within the last 18 months, in a time of 7 hours or less.

Wild Trails presents the 14th official UPCHUCK 50K. This minimally supported event consists of a point-to-point trail that runs entirely on the technically challenging single track of the Cumberland Trail. There are only TWO (2!) aid stations at mile 8 and mile 18. This course has huge climbs and huge descents
into Soddy Creek, Possum Creek and Rock Creek. It will, without a doubt, go down in the race log as one of the best 50k courses you will ever do. You must have completed a 50K within the last 18 months in under 7 hours. The "Grim Sweeper" will start one hour after the race starts. If the sweep catches up to you before mile 18 (the second and last aid station) your day is done. We will get you a ride back to the finish. Please don't argue. It simply gets dark early and there is a lot more action in the last portion of the course. If the sweep catches up to you after mile 18 then you will have a personal escort to the finish.

MEET AT THE FINISH and ride the Magic Bus to the start. THE BUS LEAVES THE FINISH AT 7:30. Race will start at 8:00.
