Rules:
1. We are in a wilderness area and traveling through bear country. Take care/be aware of the natural surroundings. There will be extra bear spray and air horns at the race start for racers to borrow.
2. In a mountain area, weather and conditions can change fast. Bring the equipment you think you will need to be safe. Only a wind jacket, food & water, waste bag or backpack, and bear spray are mandatory racing gear.
3. Racers must carry a waste bag or backpack and pack out any trash.
4. Respect the other runners and the volunteers. They are there to help you.
5. The race is semi-autonomous. Given the terrain of the course, there are no aid stations. Think about and bring the food and liquid that you need.
6. Excluding an emergency, no external aid is permitted outside what the racers can carry with them.
7. In case of injury or danger to another runner, you will need to take appropriate precautions and help until rescue arrives.
8. The race director has the authority to modify the route, reschedule, and/or cancel the race in case of bad conditions.
9. If you decide to stop the race, you need to communicate this to a race volunteer or the race director.
10. No doping.
Violating any of these rules will result in disqualification from the race.
Responsibility: The TRR and the CVCRC will not be held liable in case of accident, neglect, and/or loss of the objects of each participant. Participants will be responsible for any damage that may be caused to themselves or others.
