Summer Smith 5k Addiction Awareness Memorial Run

Run the Race...Stop the Stigma! Participate in this meaningful event in memory of Summer Smith, who bravely fought addiction. Created by her mother, Kristin, this event aims to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding addiction. Proceeds will benefit organizations that support addiction recovery and education, including the Addiction Care Center of Albany, Schenectady YWCA, and Friends of Recovery Albany, as well as provide scholarships and donations for special causes. Join us to support those impacted by addiction, promote recovery, and spark important conversations. Runners and walkers of all ages and their pets are welcome.
