Running with the Balloons 5K

To enter on race day you will have to pay the following:

The New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning is excited to present the Trinity Solar Running with the Balloons 5K Race on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Solberg Airport in Readington, NJ.  The focal point of Health & Wellness Day is the 13th running of our popular 5K race, which has previously been featured in local media as well as on the YES Network and Fox Sports Regional Networks across the country.  
 
The Trinity Solar Running with the Balloons 5K along with the New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning is proud to support Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  Please join the cause by adding a donation to your race registration at checkout.  Your donation will be added to donations from race sponsors and the festival.

All runner entries include: 
 
·      A full-day General Admission Pass to the festival ($40 Value at the gate)
·      Complimentary Parking Pass ($10 Value)
·      Lawn-seating for Sunday’s concert – Fitz & The Tantrums
·      A commemorative race T-shirt

9:00 am            Awards Presentation

1st, 2nd & 3rd Overall Male/Female

Medals will also be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following groups:
 

14 and under        

15-19    

20-80+ in 5 yr age groups     

EXTRA BONUS:  The top overall male and female finishers will each win a free ride in a hot air balloon on Sunday evening at the festival!   Registration Details & Fees:
 
The Trinity Solar Running with the Balloons 5K is USATF Certified, Sanctioned & 500 Grand Prix Points

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable:

Early-bird Registration through June 25th                                
Adults (12 and up): $50
Youth (4-12): $32 Advance Registration June 26th - July 26th          
Adults (12 and over): $55
Youth (4-12): $37 USATF Members: $3 discount until July 20th 
After July 26th and Race Day:         
Adult $65 ($40 admission + $25 race fee)
Child $40 ($15 admission + $25 race fee) 
  *Please read regarding “day-of” registrations: After July 26th, the only way to register for the race is on-site (7/30) at the 5K registration tent on-site at the festival.  Runners who register on-site will not receive free parking, or festival admission and are not guaranteed a race t-shirt.  The on-site registration fee is $25 for both adults and children, plus the cost of festival general admission ($40 for adults and $15 for children) and festival parking ($10).
