Rotary Responds 5k

Greenville’s Rotary Responds 5K Run/Walk is planned to be a family fun event to bring the community together and provide healthful outdoor recreation. The course will begin and end in the George Vanderbilt Town Park on Town Park Road in Greenville, NY (Greene County), and will wind along country roads with views of the Catskill Mountains and a roadside pond.  Funds raised by race registration and sponsorships will be used to create a "Pickleball Fund" with the goal to create, working with the Town of Greenville and Community Partners of Greenville, one or more pickleball courts at the Town Park.

The Greenville Rotary Responds 5k is part of a large Rotary event called the "Rotary Day of Service."  In 10 states throughout the northeastern US, Rotary Clubs will be providing community service in a variety of ways.  Go to www.rotarydayofservice.org for more information!

Greenville Rotary Club members are people from all walks of life in our community. We are committed to our five-way test and service to the world, the Greenville community, and especially our youth.  We try to live by the Rotary International motto “Service Above Self.”

All participants will receive a T-shirt, a participation medal,  and a Goodie Bag. There will be no age-level prizes or trophies. 

All race participants are also invited to attend a post-race yoga session at the park provided by the Bhakti Room. Please bring your own yoga mat or blanket for the yoga session.

Entry received April 1 - April 30:  $25Entry received May 1- May 19:  $30Day of Race:  $35

All children under 10 years of age may enter for $5 regardless of the registration date. Children in strollers do not need to register, unless you would like them to have a t-shirt - then registration is necessary.

Race timing will be provided by Finish Right Timing. This race is sanctioned by USA Track & Field.  

Bib pick-up time and place with be announced after May 1, 2023, by e-mail.
