Kids & Adult Beginner Triathlon
If you are looking for a race to ease you into the sport of triathlon or want to introduce your child to the sport then the Pelican Triathlon is for you.
Kids distances are 100 yd swim/3 mile bike/ 1K run.
Adult distances are 200 yd swim/ 6 mile bike / 2 mile run.
The swim will be in the lazy river. The bike will be a (1) 3-mile loop for kids and a (2) 3-mile loop for the adults. The run course will be on SPAR property for easy spectating. Great shirts for registering and plenty of good food and drink for the after party. See you there. Come tri with us!
Registration Fees (Early & Late Fees & dates):
Kids Tri - Now till 8/2/24 - $40
8/2/24 till 8/22/24 - $45
Adult Tri - Now till 8/2/24 - $50
8/2/24 till 8/22/24 - $55
Must register by August 6th to be guaranteed a race shirt
Packet Pickup (Location, Date & Time):
From 10 am - 1 pm on Friday, August 23, 2024

Race day Packet Pickup starts at SPAR 5:30-6:30 am for adults and 8:00 - 8:30 am for kids.
Age Groups:
6-8, 9-11, 12-14 for kids. 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+ for adults
Awards: 1st, 2nd,3rd, Male & Female for each age group.
Volunteers: If you would like to volunteer we would love for you to be a part of our event. Please click on the Volunteer tab on the left of the page to see all the areas that we are needing volunteers. Hope to see you at the race!!
