NJ Trail Series Fall Series #1

NJ Trail Series Fall Series 5K, 10K or 13.1M Trail Race in Lewis Morris Park 270 Mendham Road Morris Township, NJ  07960 December 4, 2021

 

13.1M consists of doing the 10K loop twice and a small loop around the lake to start. 10K consists of a single 10K loop. 5K consists of a single 5K loop utilizing some of the 10K loop.

All Races will start at Sunrise Lake in Lewis Morris Park.
Race Day Registration, Chip Pickup and Event Timeline
8:00 AM - Race day registration and check in begins. Please be at registration 1 hour before your race starts.
9:00 AM - Longest Race Start  13.1M
9:30 AM - 2nd Longest Race Start  10K
10:00 AM - Shortest Race Start  5K
11:00 AM - post race festivities.  Stick around to enjoy each others company and talk about your adventures.

Park in the Sunrise Lake Parking lot or the Doe Meadow.lot.  From the parking area, walk to Registration at the Pavilion at Sunrise Lake.

*****IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MORRIS COUNTY PARK COMMISSION******

The Park Commission has approved your request to hold your Winter Trail Series at Lewis Morris Park contingent on the following parameters.  As in the past if there is a snow/ice storm the Park Commission will not guarantee that the park roads will be open for your use.  If the Park Commission becomes aware of a storm before it hits we will give you as much notice as we can (I will notify you by email) however,  if on the day of your event a storm hits, the park roads may not be open depending on the time and severity of the storm.  If the Park Commission becomes aware of a significant storm in the forecast looking like it will hit on the day before or the day of your event we will have the right to cancel your event.    There is also no guarantee that the lot above Sunrise lake will be open on the day of your race.  Only Park Commission staff can open the parking area, your group will not be permitted to open the lot.
