NCCU Homecoming Wellness Walk

Greetings Eagle Family, 

It's always heartwarming to see our community come together for another year of Homecoming festivities. I would like to invite you to join us as we promote health, wellness and life balance among our Eagle friends and loved ones. For the second year in a row, The Ultimate Homecoming will feature the Wellness Walk around the perimeter of our Dear Ole NCCU campus on Friday, October 25, 2024 between 7:00am and 9:00am. The purpose of this Wellness Walk includes bringing family and friends together to:

Remember the fallen Eagles, Encourage Eagles dealing with difficult health challenges, andInspire the entire Eagle community to invest time, energy and resources into their personal wellness

Here's how you can participate:

Register to walk/run with one of the Existing Teams honoring an Eagle alum who is no longer with us or one that is battling a difficult health challenge, Sign Up and create a Honoring Eagles team in the name of an Eagle alum who is no longer with us or one that is battling a health challenge, and/orDonate to participate virtually or simply support the cause.

The Homecoming Wellness Walk/Run supports the Healthy Eagle Wellness Endowment Fund. This endowment provides scholarships for exceptional Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences majors dedicated to enhancing health and wellness in the Black community. Through their educational pursuits, community service, and career goals, these students demonstrate a profound commitment to positive change. Your participation helps empower the next generation of health leaders.
