The 6th Annual Fort Mardi Gras Fun 5k Run/Walk & Fest will take place Saturday, February 10th, 2024 at (NEW LOCATION is Ferry Park, Fort Walton Beach Florida with Race Starting at 10am and Free Mardi Gras Festivities till 3pm.) CHECK IN AND START/FINISH is LOCATED at Ferry Park Entrance (56 Ferry Rd NE) Race will start at 10am PLEASE COME PREPARED TO SUPPORT OUR VENDORS, FOOD TRUCKS & VISIT WITH OUR SPONSORS BEFORE YOU LEAVE TO GO HOME!!   As of 1-17-2024 10 &UNDER FREE WITH ADULT REGISTER. (You will Register your child on Raceday when you pick up your Packet & Bib #'s. ALL SAME DAY REGISTERS AND if you MISSED PACKET PICK UP DAYS PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE PARK AS EARLY AS 830am to get checked in !! THE RACE WILL START AT 10am. with Mardi Gras Festivities till 3pm (FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC)   Every Participant will receive a Custom Mardi Gras MEDAL! (Same Day Registrants Not Guaranteed)  "A Family Fun Event for all to enjoy!!" Vendors, Face Painting, Gumbo, Music, Mardi Gras Beads & More!!                   Leashed Dogs are Welcome!! We want to focus foremost on MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS! Mental Health/Dis+ease is a social dilemma thats greatly damaging our communities. The fact is either not readily addressed, quietly spoken about or simply ignored. The Fort Mardi Gras 5k is designed to address Mental Health /Dis+ease by promoting proper exercise, creating healthy minds, coordinating wellness and encouraging mental stability. Approaches as such are preventive measures that will enable us all VICTORIOUS!  Together we will raise awareness while embracing diversity, supporting one another and using this stance to help direct hundreds of lives as we get closer to defeating mental dis+ease to the fullest extent possible. Race Starts: 10a.m. With Mardi Gras Festivities 11a.m.-3pm @ Ferry Park, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The Festival Part of the event is FREE and open to the Public!
