Königsschlösser Romantik Marathon

Pretty marathon, course was beautiful. Good support along the course.

A great run relatively flat, beautiful scenery , nice place, friendly people, my first German marathon and I loved it. Only down side you didn’t get a tee shirt, I like one to remember these iconic events when I do them.

Warm weather, but I was lucky on the day as it was over cast, but be prepared for hot and sunny! Lot of the course was on cinder paths through wooded areas, nice to get off the tarmac but I little harder. Loved the run, would recommend!!

Very well organized race. Scenic route along the lakes, not much asphalt, so I recommend it to trail runners too. I was absolutely amazed by the horns that were played around the last lake (around 34 km. of the route). They created a fantastic atmosphere like in a movie where they play the horns before a battle (very motivating for a faster finish). 10 k and half marathon took place on Saturday and marathon on Sunday.
